NashVegas!πŸ‘’πŸŽ

For all who have not been to Nashville before, PLEASE GO! I’ve been wondering when I was going to step foot in Nash again since the last time I went in 2013!

Nashville 2013

My boyfriend and I decided to take a mini vacation during Memorial Day weekend for a couple of days. Since we wanted to drive and we live in Northwest Indiana (eye roll), somewhere in the Midwest was ideal. I honestly couldn’t think of a better place in this region besides Nashville! We both had been before, but he hadn’t been since he was younger and the last time I went, I was 21. I have to say though, it’s one of the best trips we have been on together. We had so much fun that I’m sure NashVegas has a piece of both our hearts there!πŸ’–

We arrived at our suite in Nashville Friday night with plans to take it easy, but we later found out one of our friends was also in town for the night! We were so easily persuaded to hit the strip right away. (Literally an hour after arriving, we were on the way out!) We went to a few places like Coyote Ugly and Jason Aldean’s Tequila Cowboy.Β We had a few drinks and enjoyed each others company. It was a nice first night in town to say the least!

On Saturday, we explored the city a bit more. Our first stop wasΒ The Country Music Hall of Fame.Β It was really crowded, but they had some cool things to look at from various country stars. (Past & Present).

We used Saturday to mainly check out Broadway and go to a handful of different places. I, of course had to take Coley to my favorite bar on the strip at night, “Honky Tonk Central.”😊

On Sunday, it was my mission to get us inside the Bluebird Cafe.I wanted to visit here because this is where Taylor Swift got discovered and they also film some of the scenes from the show Nashville here. Unfortunately, there was a long line outside the door and they had only been open for 15 minutes. I was made aware that this could possibly happen since many tourist like to come here and it’s become popular, but I really didn’t think it would be the case. Anyways, we didn’t get to go inside, but I got a quick photo of the outside!

We concluded our Sunday night taking some pictures downtown and grabbing a couple drinks at a few bars on Broadway. We had fun just talking and watching everyone else get drunk. We even walked by the Tennessee River for a little. It was SO pretty to see at night with the bridge(s) lit!

I had such a BLAST in Nash with my baby! I can’t wait until we go again sometime! It’s not a bad drive from Indiana AT ALL, so if you have the chance, GO! You won’t regret it!

P.S — Remember how I mentioned this wasn’t my first time in Nashville?

Well the first time I went, my friend Gaby & I went for a Taylor Swift Concert (Red)! I decided to share some of the pictures I took from second row! Here’s a handful of pictures from her RED TOUR. -Bridgestone Arena 2013-

  1. IM SO JEALOUS RIGHT NOW! I’ve always wanted to go to Nashville! As a huge country music fan (not very common over here in the UK) I’d love to visit there. It seems like you can find great country music in any bar out there and I’d love to just wander round hopping from bar to bar.
    Thanks for sharing!

    1. If you love country music, then you need to visit Nashville at some point! Every bar has live music and many bars have multiple levels so you can change up the bands at the same place. Theres so many bars to visit as well just on Broadway street alone. You would have a blast. Thanks so much for reading!!!
